Main Research Activities

My research activity is focused on the characterisation of Lithium-Sulfur battery materials. In particular I work on cathode materials and analyse them before and after electrochemical cycling.  The aim is to gain a better understanding on the structural modification that take place at the electrode upon cycling in order to provide guidelines for the development of the next generation of batteries. My work is supported by the ALISTORE - European Research Institute and is carried out in collaboration with members of the HELiS consortium.
