Main Research Activities

My research activity focuses on sulphur-based materials as electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries based on lithium-ion (Li-ion) and sodium-ion (Na-ion) technologies. Two research approaches are being investigated: (i) identifying promising new materials and/or chemical compositions, and (ii) optimizing or proposing new synthesis routes (liquid approach) that can lead to microstructural changes (particle size, morphology, core/shell assembly, etc.) and enable an up-scale production.
