The PhD project is part of the ARTISTIC project lead by Prof. Alejandro A. Franco. The target of ARTISTIC project is to create a modeling framework to rationalize and optimize the electrode fabrication process. My task is to extend the manufacturing simulation platform to other materials including LiFePO4 and silicon, to improve the scope of application of the modeling framework. The challenge will be integrating different mechanisms to the platform, for example phase separation for LiFePO4 and volume change and stress distribution of silicon.Supervisor Prof. Alejandro A.
