Descriptif des activités de rechercheElectrochemical synthesis of Si/TiO2 nanotubes composites as négative électrode material for lithium ion battery. Supervisors: Jeremy Mallet, Michael Molinari, Claude Guery and Mathieu Morcrette Goal To design an alternative Low cost electrochemical synthesis process for the synthesis of Silicon negative electrode material to reduce the cost limitation of the high vacuume techniques commenly used for Si material fabrication. To synthèses Si/TiO2 nanotube composite inorder to incorporate silicon in titania matrix to reduce the volume expansion. Silicon directly grown on self-organized TiO2 nanotubes array expected to provide , a facile 1D electron transport, no need of adding binder or conductive additives, good adhesion of silicon to rough titania and large surface area, which all contributes for the improvement of the electrochemical performance of the composite as negative electrode for Li-ion battery.
