Descriptif des activités de recherche
The "ARTISTIC" project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) concerns the development of a digital twin of the lithium ion battery manufacturing process. This thesis will focus fully on these "prediction optimization" aspects which will allow the project to come full circle. To do this, the thesis will be based on experimental aspects (manufacture of electrodes and electrochemical and tomographic characterizations including in operando) with physical modeling aspects (coarse grain molecular dynamics / method of discrete elements, etc.) and by AI. The studies will focus on both negative and positive electrodes with active reference materials of the project (graphite, NMC) but also other emerging materials.Supervisors Prof. Alejandro A. Franco, Dr. Arnaud Demortiere
