Descriptif des activités de recherche

Soorya is a PhD student under Prof Alejandro Franco from LRCS Amiens, and Dr Maxime Moreaud from IFPEN, Lyon. His project focuses on accelerating battery manufacturing through the development of a digital twin of the battery manufacturing process using multiscale physics-based models. His project aims to analyze the effect of various battery manufacturing processes on the electrode microstructure and consequently their electrochemical performance. His focus is on developing digital twins for next-generation battery technology such as sodium-ion batteries and all-solid-state batteries. His project adopts tools and frameworks from the ERC-ARTISTIC project, and complements it with various image processing techniques available in Plug-im!, a software developed in IFPEN, Lyon.
